Moving Clergy


This workshop, offered on the district level, is designed to aid clergy as they prepare to leave their parish and to move to their next parish or to ease into retirement.

Topics covered include a review of grief and how to facilitate your congregation’s grief as well as that of clergy; preparing the way for the clergy person who will follow with attention to various details; the final weeks prior to moving; and, possible ways to worship your final Sunday at the current appointment.
